Latest on Coach Calipari's pro career
According to the USA Today coach Calipari, tackling speculation that he is on the lookout for a coaching job in the NBA, went on 95.5 The Fan in Portland, and again reiterated that he isn't going anywhere.
Calipari also talked about his relationship with LeBron James.
"I mean I can't stop the speculation. LeBron and I are friends," Calipari said. "That is what we are, but I have other players in the league that I have coached, I mean eight or ten of them. So I don't know all of a sudden this became LeBron and Cal, and how that started. But obviously I am not going to answer everything that is thrown, and all of the speculation. I just said that 'Hey, I am going to be at Kentucky.'"
Coach Cal also talked about the recruiting of Terrence Jones.
"Well we thought that he was coming with us and when he said 'Washington' we were like 'what just happened?' That was the first thing. Then he called about an hour later and said 'Cal, I made a mistake. I don't know what I was doing.' That is when the thing went like 'You what?' So we talked to him and said that we are going to do whatever you want. I am holding your scholarship. At one point I said, 'Look, if you want to go to Washington then go to Washington, and if you want to come with us, come with us. Just make a decision so that we can all move on.' But I felt bad for him to be honest with you. Because he is 6'9'' everybody thinks that this guy is a grown man. They have emotions and they still, the peer pressure wanting to please everybody. Terrence is a pleaser. He is not one to be confrontational. He is not one that… He is a pleaser. He wanted to please me, he wanted to please Lorenzo, wanted to please his teammates. That is what he is."
Calipari said Jones called him minutes after the press conference on April 30 when he committed to Washington and said he wanted to reconsider.
"If he had committed to Washington and that was the end of it then we wouldn't have done anything. But this was a unique situation."
I gotta say, I believe Calipari when he says he isn't leaving. I guess I'll be left looking like a fool if he's lying. Whats your thoughts? Is he going? If so, where? Leave me a comment below.
"That stuff, what I said before, can't stop all the speculation and rumors and innuendo," Calipari said. "What I have said is that I am going to be coaching at Kentucky and I will be at Kentucky next year. I am not out looking for jobs. I have got in my opinion the best job in the country."

East Atlanta Tattoo, Thanks Amy!
Got my first tattoo today from East Atlanta Tattoo. Amy Ross was my tattooist, she was easy to work with and didn't put me through too much pain. Although I have to admit, a wrist tattoo hurt more than I thought it would.
Do you have any tattoos? How many if so and which hurt the most?

Corey Peters Performs Well in Falcons Mandatory Mini-Camp
Corey Peters, the 83rd overall pick in this years draft, performed well during the Atlanta Falcons mandatory mini-camp and rookie camp; according to Coach Smith.
"I thought Corey did a nice job," Falcons coach Mike Smith said. "He's a very intelligent football player. We love his FBI [football intelligence]. He's got the skill-set to come in here and compete."

Kevin Thomas from PigSkin.com interviews former Kentucky defensive lineman Corey Peters. Peters was selected in the third round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons.
Are Lyons chances with the Bronco's in danger?
Here's the latest on Dicky Lyons and according to Woody Paige it doesn't look good. Here's an excerpt from Woody's column in the Denver Post.
Hey, Woody. How do you see our rookie receivers fitting in? Will Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker fully recover from their foot injuries? Also, what's the scoop on Dicky Lyons?
— Mike, Rochester, N.Y.
What up, Mike: Let's start with Lyons, a late free agent. I think he has only a slight chance to stick as a return man and the last receiver, if there's an injury. He's short (5-feet-11) and not a real speedster. But I would predict he won't make it.

Masthay getting chance to kick for the Green Bay job
I'd like to see Masthay get the Green Bay job.
Last year, Masthay spent most of the off-season with the Indianapolis Colts but was released before the first preseason game when seventh-round draft pick Pat McAfee performed well. Masthay said he then worked out for Green Bay in August, as well as Tampa Bay, New England and New York.
Nothing panned out, but Masthay kept working out.
"I was back living in Lexington, tutoring student-athletes at the university," said Masthay, 23. "It was nice to be there because I had access to the facilities to work out. I was doing that and hoping I would get back to a place like Green Bay."
Masthay and Bryan have been in Green Bay since March for off-season workouts.
At the last minicamp, Masthay hit the roof of the Don Hutson Center several times while punting side-by-side with Bryan during a drill.
"I was hitting the ball really well," said Masthay.
Masthay has been punting two or three times a week in the last three weeks to gear up for the Packers' organized team activities, which began Monday. The OTAs will provide another opportunity for side-by-side competition between Masthay and Bryan.
"This is one of the more open competitions in the league right now I would think. There's no incumbent; there's no draft choice," said Masthay. "So, yeah, I am really pleased to be here. Chris is a good punter. We've just sort of been competing with each other on our own.
"I am actually more confident right now because of the past two months, I have been working out and hitting the ball well and my fundamentals have gotten better. So, yeah, I do feel confident that I can play in this league."
Both punters competing had solid workouts on Wednesday.
Former University of Kentucky midfielder brought in by the Revolution
Jason Griffiths, former UK forward/midfielder from Bracknell England, will be one of three trialists to take part in the match Wednesday when his New England Revolution take on Benfica. Griffiths is only the second Brit to ever be taken in the MLS draft, he will be wearing #16 for the Revolution.
DISCLAIMER: This post is 100% all I know about soccer, so if that's not Jason Griffiths in the pic, my bad. If the post doesn't explain he's taking part in an MLS soccer match that doesn't count, my bad.
Coach Cal being shopped with Lebron.
The Chicago Tribune reported on Monday that James' associate and new coach agent William Wesley, who works closely with James' agent Leon Rose, is shopping University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari behind the scenes to NBA teams as part of a package to sign James. That pitch, reportedly, included the Bulls.
